Noodle Doodle

Turn a simple tile drawing into a collection of geometric patterns.

Noodle Doodle is a playful drawing app for iPhone and iPad. Draw a small tile made of lines, then place copies of it in a grid. Flip a few, rotate others, and watch a much bigger design appear.

No drawing skills required. Lines snap to a grid, mistakes undo instantly, and half the fun is discovering a pattern you didn't plan.

Common Questions

Why is it called Noodle inside the app?

The app is Noodle Doodle on the App Store, but everything inside just goes by Noodle. Same app, shorter name.

Do I need an account?

No. There's no sign-up, no login, and nothing to subscribe to. Open it and start drawing.

Where are my tiles and patterns stored?

On your device. Noodle doesn't send anything anywhere.

I'm not artistic. Is this for me?

Yes. Every line snaps to a grid, so nothing comes out wonky. Most of the good patterns are happy accidents anyway.

Can I see how a tile was made?

Tap any tile and swipe to the Steps page. The till will trace itself line by line. It's quite relaxing.
