You found me!

I am not really into social media. So this site serves as my way to show off art, apps, and photography (eventually). Be sure to read about a couple apps I built called Pixel Picasso and Ripple. I’m currently working on a Color Studio app and several custom UI components. They will be posted soon.

Yes, my name really is Dexter Buxton. Jessica and I live in New York City and we grew up in Salt Lake City (quite the difference). Shortly after getting married we moved to Seattle and lived there for a few years. We decided to move here for the history and humidity. The best thing about the city is the subway system. I can get anywhere in the city for a couple dollars and read a book while I do it. Autonomous cars? Yes please! Until that happens, I’ll hold onto my Metro Card.

We love travel and adventure, so this is a great spot for us right now. Next stop is maybe Amsterdam or... Vermont. A small house in the woods sounds nice but a city with more bikes than people? That sounds awesome too!

I spend most of my time building iOS apps and hiking/biking around New York City. On really ambitious days I attempt to draw things on the iPad. Procreate is my favorite app of all time!
